White House says it is creating 'very large' dossier on Washington Post journalist and others.

This is not okay.   For the record, I hate the phrase "This is not okay", but this is NOT okay.  To be fair, I'm certain that he's not the first POTUS to create dossiers on, well, anyone.  But this is an intimidation tactic, plain and simple.  I mean, POTUS is pretty fucking lazy, so there may not be any dossiers.        'Cept, his folks will have to do whatever he tells them to do either because it's their job or because of the allure of power...and maybe out of some sick form of civic duty.        As if gathering info of journalists in order to shut them up is patriotic.        Last I checked, it was the very antithesis of the American way .      November 2nd can't get here soon enough.         This is not a myth, POTUS.

The Trick To Twenty-Ten.

I haven't written anything deep in a while because frankly, I've been a complete lazy ass. That being said, it's not like I have nothing of any real importance to say; contrary to popular belief, I do have thoughts that transcend the here and now. I think about all things existential and transcendental...whether I want to or not. But as I said before, I'm a lazy ass, so getting around to getting these thoughts out of the space between my ears took some time. I’ll be the first to admit that 2010 held high expectations. Expectations that turned out to be a bit too high. And I’m not just talkin’ personal. I’m talkin’ global. Things were supposed to be bigger and better in 2010 whether it was verbalized collectively or said as a silently as if one prays to one’s deity. This year was supposed to be “The Year Of The Future”? The year of the flying car, jet packs, dehydrated food, floating apartments, teleporters, telepathy and other things future related. Weren’t we s...

This is just common sense.     Sent to you by tony via Google Reader:     Metro Riders Notice Empty Front Cars Day After Crash via WAMU: Local News on 6/22/09 Nine people are dead after Monday afternoon's Metrorail collision in Washington. Federal and local officials are still at the scene trying to piece together what went wrong. Federal officials have taken charge of the scene near the New Hampshire Avenue bridge in Northeast Washington. Two men and seven women died in the crash, including the driver of the train that smashed into the back of the other - 42-year-old Jeanice McMillan of Springfield, VA. She had only been a metro driver for a few months. Down the tracks from the crash, Fort Totten station was closed to red line traffic. Carol Walker said she simply relied on the green line today, but she did notice something different about the trains. "There were empty front car trains," she said. "Pending finding out what really went, people ar...

Excellent 2.0!!!     Sent to you by tony via Google Reader:     Iran Twitter: Why The Movement Adopted This Medium via The Huffington Post | Full News Feed by The Huffington Post News Editors on 6/17/09 The U.S. State Department doesn't usually take an interest in the maintenance schedules of dot-com startups. But over the weekend officials there reached out to Twitter and asked them to delay a network upgrade that was scheduled for Monday night. The reason? To protect the interests of Iranians using the service to protest the presidential election that took place last Friday. Twitter moved the upgrade to 2pm PST Tuesday afternoon -- or 1:30 am Tehran time.
