re: Emmy Ultimatum...

Well, one outta two ain't bad! Although Keifer was due, Peter Krause deserved it just as much!!! Still, one Emmy for "Six Feet Under"...for best guest star??? What are you people smoking??? And, why aren't you sharing? http://www.hbo.com/sixfeetunder/ Emmy Ultimatum Why? Why? Why? What has Keifer Sutherland done to you, Emmys? Huh? Geez, what do they have to do to get your attention, take on aliens? I mean, c'mon, throw us a freakin' bone!!! Anything would've been acceptable. Anything! Best hair-do? Best cutticles? Best sock-puppet? If "24" were a beautiful woman, you could've at least bought her dinner first. Next year, the final season of "Six Feet Under" will be up for several Emmys. Including best drama. Please don't screw this up, Emmy...or we're through. http://www.fox.com/24/

This is Spring?

So, as usual I was late getting up out of bed. As usual, I was running late for work. And as usual, I ended up running out the door wearing a light jacket that would be just perfect for Spring-like weather. And, as I ran outta the house like Dagwood Bumstead, a very prevelant thought shot through my cerebellum. My fingers went numb and began to protest any minute movement, I was quickly reminded of the flavor of nasal drip and my eyes began to water. WTF? Where the Hell is Spring??? No seriously, someone's needs to quit playing and bring back Spring! As you can see, I'm such a happy camper! http://www.fxnetworks.com/shows/originals/blackwhite/main.html

Google search for today!

So, if you haven't heard, a federal judge has ordered Google to hand over their records to the Bush administration...to fight pornagraphy; "the War on Porn" is what they'll probably call it if they can't shore up enough support. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060315/ap_on_hi_te/google_doj_19 Anywho, I was reading what the wonderful folks on huffingtonpost.com had to say about it when I came across this entry from preemptivelove: " To see Google's subversive commentary on this whole affair, just type in a Google search using the word: asshole It's a funny and fitting fact that the first hit you get when you type in the word "asshole" is a link to this very very good film short about this administration and how out of control they are. have fun!!! and pass it on....." And I thought, surely, that can't be right. I'm glad that I was wrong. I saved you all the trouble and dropped the first link that appeared when I ty

What's a blog?

So my friend asked me what a blog is? I gave her the generic answer, that it's derived from the words "web" and "log". Simple enough. But then, I started thinking about how something so simple can end up being so much more; blogs can vary in layers. I mean, the web, in and of itself is GI-NORMOUS!!! If you want to find anything, you can find it on the web (That's gotta be the "duh" statement of the year. I mean, you are reading this blog and later, you may check your e-mail and move money out of your savings into your checking account online) and a log/diary/journal can be very something very deep, personal and introspective. The two go together like chocolate and peanut butter! But then, I started thinking about people who lost their jobs over their blogs and how blogs are changing the face of journalism and even the way we percieve the world! I mean, it's just one syllable. Wow! http://www.steviewonder.net/

All tapped out?

How do you do it, blogosphere? How do you do it? How do you bloggers write day in and day out? There are tons of prolific bloggers out there who have something witty to say...daily! I really wish that I didn't envy those guys (and gals), but I do! Why not me? Why not me??? I was busy slamming my head against one of the walls in the computer room when my roommate, in all of his infinite wisdom, inquired about my situation. "Shouldn't you only blog when you have something important to say?", he queried. "Yeah.", I responded. Yeah. http://www.richardpryor.com/

We love Katamari!!!

Just finished playing about a 1/2 ago...wow, what a highly addictive game!!! Can barely keep my eyes open, but every time I close them, I see myself rolling up small objects into larger, rounder objects! It's a silly, mindless game w/NO point tally. But I can't stop playing! We love Katamari

Jo Jo: Before and After

LOL! The look on his face in the "before" photo is priceless. I can actually hear his inner dialog... -Well this is different. Why did Mommy put me in this chair? And, what's this robe for? What's that buzzing noise? And, why is it getting louder? Hey, what are you doing??? LOL! My sister made my nephew look like a monk!!! http://www.lego.com/

Happy New Year!!!
