Never been touched...

...by a series finale the way I was touched by this one! Kudos to Alan Ball for writing something that hasn't been seen on TV in a long, long time, a series finale worth watching! Over the last five seasons, "Six Feet Under" has not so much revolutionized the family drama as it has simply shown us what was capable of achieving in a one hour drama, DRAMA!!! But the last episode, specifically, the last five minutes of the last episode did something that no other series finale has done... Change my life. Now, I know what you're thinking, "Um, Tony, it's a FREAKIN' TV show!!!". Yes, yes I know but it's a show that introduced us to characters who are like real people; characters that are flawed to varying degrees and do things that are not only not right but in many cases very very wrong! But, we (as fans), don't condemn them for their flaws but accept them for being so real...so human. WARNING! MAJOR SPOILER ALERT! IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE L

The last movie I've seen...

Five reasons to watch "the Island": 5)Michael Bay. When it comes to Summer blockbusters, a few names come to mind. Action? Check! Adventure? Check! Something gettin' blow'd up real good??? Check! Check! Check! 4)Special Effects. Grade A. I was really impressed w/the traffic chase scene and the inside of the clone facility. 3)Ewan McGregor. Great actor! Even though it's a sci-fi movie, he's not Obi-Wan. Which is good, it would suck to be remembered for playing only one character, even if that character is forever cemented in a gi-normous sci-fi franchise. 2)Scarlett Johansson. Wow. A natural beauty. She's somehow managed to look very attractive AND very approachable @ the very same time. I could look @ her for hours, and sometimes I do. 1)Scarlett Johansson. Aw c'mon, tell me you're surprised: http://www.esquire.com/women/gallery/050201 _mww_scarlett_frame.html http://www.theisland-themovie.com/
