Tech update.

In the last week or so, I've acquired two things that have essentially stolen any free time that I've had stashed away; this nifty hand-me down Sony Viao that I bought from my friend and this 80 Gig Zune that I've just purchased. The laptop? My other computer refused to allow me on to "the internets" for pornogra--um, er research. The Zune? My other two MP3 players (Creative Zen), have been totally corrupted by said CPU that restricted me from the aforementioned "internets" and would, on occasion, shut off for no apparent reason. Creative is a great brand, but after running through 3 of them (had to send one back; the folks @ Creative said, eff it and sent me a new one), I was a little gun-shy about buying a fourth Zen. So, I swapped out no access for access and Zen for Zune. The only problem I have now is that it's an 80 gig...and I have 300+ CDs. It's like staring into the abyss; I can rip 'em all, look up and realize I've just burned 74 hours ripping and zero hours with a woman.

I've made myself sad again.

:(

Ahhhh!!! A snake!

I'm usually the other guy; deep in slumber, sawing logs (like all snorers, I've never had the distinguished privilege of hearing the sweet, melodic sounds of my nocturnal singing performances) I've got a my drapes closed @ all times, birdsongs are overrated (it's like they're phoning it on or something; a total lack of originality!), the alarm clock goes off. I placed it across the room on purpose; that way I'll have to get out of bed. I throw a shoe @ it. This morning was different. I rolled over and felt the sun caress my face like a lover I lost ages ago, heard the beautiful chirp chirp chirp-ing of a mother bird and her young, jumped out of bed, stretched and f
