They say everything tastes better with bacon. Sticky-sweet syrup maker Torani have gone and made a bacon-flavored goo you can drizzle in your drinks. Perfect for bacon martinis and pork lattes.

You ask "Why God, why?" as though this is a bad thing. Want that hint of bacon flavor with your eggs but don't have bacon to cook and then use the grease for the eggs? Just put a little of this in the egg when you beat it up. I could see putting a little of this in coffee in the morning when you don't have time for breakfast. It won't fill you up, but at least you'll get the flavor. This is awesome.

Excellent!     Sent to you by tony via Google Reader:     SmarTrip Users Can Now Reload at CVS & Giant via DCist by Sommer Mathis on 6/16/09 Metro formally announced today that SmarTrip users can add value to their cards at select CVS and Giant Food stores . Last year, WMATA made SmarTrip cards more widely available for sale at CVS and Giant , but now customers can also choose to add money to their cards at both chains while they check out. Many CVS stores actually began offering customers the ability to reload their SmarTrip cards back in April, while Giant has only started to test the sales devices at eight area stores. The grocer will likely add 42 more locations later this summer. Not every CVS or Giant has the new SmarTrip reload technology, but a lot of them do.
